For Thanksgiving Catherine and Greg came to visit. We made 4 pumpkin pies 1 cherry and apple pie. mmmm.
It was so fun to have family here for the holidays they spoiled us as usual we just love them.

I am so prod of Matthew for studying so hard and passing his classes.
He often feels like he is going to fail but never does. He is so smart.
We cant wait to see Jaxon over Christmas 3 more weeks yippee.

Update we moved!!

October 2011,
So Matthew got into podiatry Med. school in Chicago! We are having so much fun here. We have made great friends and life is great. We moved into military housing its a town house 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath. It also has as Matt calls it " my time out closet" or I call it "my get ready room", its a closet in our room that I turned into my get ready room. Catherin helped us the first week we moved in to make our house feel like home it turned out so cute. Katherine came out with Jaxon and she also helped do a few projects with me. It has been hard being so far from Jaxon and not seeing him as often. We plan on seeing him every 3 months and for a month in the summer time. :)
I am working at a podiatrist office and 2 nights a week I spend with Hayden a special needs 8 year old girl... who I just love.

"Bunnys are not very good hiders"

Jaxon and I dyed Eggs last weekend. Jaxon loved to get a spoon and scoop up the egg out of the dye every 2 min to see if it was changing colors. I explained that it would take a long time for the eggs to change and that the longer you leave them in the dye the brighter the color would be. He understood but continued looking at the eggs as they changed.
As he was looking at the egg in the yellow dye the egg rolled off the spoon and made a big splash back in the cup of yellow dye. Jaxon holding one eye said " O no! I got dye in my eye, what color is it, is my eye changing yellow?" as he looked at me with his eyes opened wide. I said "you better go look in the mirror quickly." He ran to the mirror and came back. I asked " did your eye change colors?" he said " no not yet, but it may take a while for it to change."
The next morning Jaxon woke us up early around 6am and said "get up! get up! its a special day time to find those eggs." We told him that the bunny had not yet hid the eggs and to go back to bed he said Ok and we slept a few hours longer. I have a video of Jaxon looking for the eggs. After he found a few eggs," He said " I am going to tell you this... Bunny's are not very good hider" We defended the Bunny by saying "are you sure... you only found 2 so far." I helped him find the rest of the eggs and we then make deviled eggs for breakfast.
On Sunday we tried to explain the true meaning of Easter to Jaxon. Its a lot harder to explain to a 5 year old then you would think. We said something like this..." Heavenly Father gave us his son Jesus. Jesus Loved the children and everyone so much, but he died... and 3 days latter he was alive again... so he still lives and loves us. So He was dead and then 3 days latter woke up and was alive" After a long silents Jaxon said " Well I don't really understand what you are saying to me." We try to explain further but probably just confused him more, Well at least we can say we tried. Happy Easter!!
